The History Of The Association
The first attempt was to establish this association streches back to 2004 with the establishment of "Turkurolap"; Turkish urologic laparoscopy group which was a training and research group, and the first laparoscopy course was held in 2004 as well. The area has been extended to Robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery and Endourology and training programs have been developed for Turkish and international urologists. So far, 44 Basic and Advanced Laparoscopy and Robotic Surgery Courses have been performed, and it will reach to 48 by the end of 2018. These courses were held in many different countries like; Germany, Greece, Romania, Russia, Italy, Azerbaidjan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Turkey, Bulgaria and Kosovo.
